Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
God, help me trust in the path You have for me. Help me be of one mind, daily, moment by moment, trusting in the next step you lay out for me; then the next; then the next.
Help me to pray rather than worry, and to pursue selfless, unconditional love rather than self-preservation. Bring every edge and weave of my mind into alignment, so that Christ’s character would be plain in me, and help me to value dependence on You rather than the light of my own spirit.
Whatever other successes You give in my endeavors are gratefully received gifts, but to be like You is nourishment, sustenance. Mold me, shape me, guide me, call me.
